Witch Marks Zine

Witch Marks is my first ever zine - a combined art and information project that explores marks carved to protect against evil sorcery, specifically focusing on the East Midlands. The zine is designed around a series of mono-prints created by myself, based on Witch Marks found at Creswell Crags and Belton House and other local locations. Through the pages we explore what the meaning of the marks is, where to find them, and what they were protecting against. With an overview of Witch Trials that took place in Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire and close to our borders.
